We provide a comprehensive range of rendering options, including: Acrylic Renders, Silicone Renders, Sand and Cement Render, Pebbledash & Colour Through Render.

Acrylic Render

Acrylic render is a wet, thin-coat finishing solution available in a diverse range colors, making it a favored choice for decorative applications. It is recognized for durability, aesthetic appeal, and its ability to form a robust protective barrier against typical weather conditions. For those seeking to paint their homes in vibrant shades, through-coloured acrylic render an optimal choice. This product can be mixed to achieve any desired color and offers a crack-resistant finish. Similar to acrylic paint, it effectively bonds with color pigments, enhancing color longevity. Nonetheless, acrylic rendering does have some limitations. It requires a longer drying time, cannot be applied in wet conditions, and is somewhat less resistant to extreme weather due to its lack of silicone, resulting in reduced hydrophobic properties compared to silicone render.

Silicone Render

Silicone rendering is a highly advanced rendering solution that employs colored renders and primers specifically formulated for lightweight systems, resulting in an exceptionally smooth finish. Its self-cleaning properties significantly reduce the risk of organic growth. Although acrylic rendering provides some level of breathability, it does not achieve the same effectiveness as silicone rendering. This type of render is pre-colored, which eliminates the need for a subsequent painting process after curing. Consequently, only a single coat is required, enhancing its longevity and minimizing visibility of scratches, as the color is integrated throughout the top coat. Silicone rendering is offered in a diverse range of colors and can be efficiently applied by qualified professionals like ourselves, typically completing the process within just a few hours due to its thin-coat application.

Traditional Sand & Cement Render

Traditional sand and cement render boasts a decorative topcoat that necessitates a two-coat application. When applied correctly, this rendering performs well; however, improper application can allow water to become trapped between the layers, risking the integrity of one or both coats. Typically grey in color, it does require regular painting to maintain its attractive finish. Despite its limitations, this type of render is a popular choice due to its cost-effectiveness, comprised of cement, plasterer’s sand, and lime. When applied to coarse surfaces like bricks or blocks, it delivers a textured or sand-like finish on exterior walls. For those on a budget, this render is an excellent solution. While it may not achieve a smooth finish and is not waterproof, its affordability makes it a practical choice for many projects.
